Circuit Civil Mediations involve disputes which are in the process of litigation or are being considered for filing in a Circuit Court located in the State of Florida. Whether by court order, the agreement of the parties or a pre-existing contractual provision, most Circuit Court Civil Cases will be the subject of a mediation effort. But mediation is always required by the Court's when a case is proceeding and it appears that the parties cannot reach an agreement on some or all of the issues. In order to find an alternative to costly and time consuming litigation, the courts require the parties to seek a mediator. This section of our website, discusses some but not all of the issues which should be condiered in specific type of circuit civil cases, with the exception of family cases which are discussed in a seperate area of this site. |
